TGS is pleased to recognize Sanco Shipping and Castor Vali as recipients of TGS' annual QHSE Excellence award! We proudly promote this award program to help raise QHSE awareness, encourage and promote the importance of robust safety and One Team culture, and highlight exceptional efforts by contractors and service providers operating on behalf of TGS.
In 2023, Sanco supported several TGS multi-client and proprietary marine geophysical operations by providing seismic source and support vessel services. The vessels accounted for over 500,000 exposure hours without a single recordable incident, and the Sanco Spirit was awarded 8 'Catch of the Week' awards by ExxonMobil Wells for their outstanding achievements related to health, safety and the environment.
Castor Vali, a global security and risk management company, played an important role in ensuring that TGS' Awele 3D geophysical operation offshore Nigeria was carried out safely. Castor Vali was responsible for providing TGS with onshore and offshore security personnel, security orientations and intelligence, 24/7 onboard security monitoring, etc.
TGS believes that establishing a strong 'One Team' culture - whereby every individual supporting our operations works as one team - is critical to the success and safe execution of our field operations.
